Greetings:
I appreciate the depth and hard work involved the OOo manuals and help files at http://documentation.openoffice.org and http://oooauthors.org very much, but since the topic of fonts is so extensive and involved, I'd like to know whether there's a separate manual or help files on finding font sources, converting fonts, importing fonts, installing fonts (!), and maybe even on customizing them. I use a Mac if it makes any difference.
I kicked off on this crusade because I am trying to find conversions and equivalents of Aristocrat LET, Bickley, and Corsiva fonts for OOo.
Thanks for any hints or tips!

I think a lot of what you just listed is stuff that OOo doesn't do, but rather stuff that your OS does.
Andrew told you how to install them. I am unknowledgable about fonts, but what would be awesome is if you could join the OOo Authors team and spearhead the document. It sounds rather useful.
Head to http://www.oooauthors.org and join the team!
