The only changes I've made since yesterday, when autocorrect was
working, were in Tools/autocorrect/Options. This was miscellaneous small
stuff (apply styles, remove double spaces, etc). Nothing to do with the
autocorrect function itself.
But suddenly autocorrect again will not accept new entries. This time,
at least, it has not lost my previous additions. Checking the
autocorrect file, I now see that the last modification is noted to be
4/6/05. This is patently false, since I successfully added some entries
yesterday. Yes, my paths are correct; I've triple-checked.
What's more, there is no persistent autotext file. What I suppose is the
autotext file, mytexts.bau, remains at 567 bytes, with a 4/4 date. I've
got the function enabled, specced at 5000 entries of seven letters or
more, autogather, and set to persistent.
This problem has nagged me for months, over several beta versions.
Anyone out there?

So, basically, your question is, "Does anyone else have a problem with
AutoCorrect not accumulated words in the 2.0 snapshots?"
Just want to clarify before I test.
