I can't help with the download problem other than to say that you may not want to download at all. I'm using Win2000 as well. I installed the patch last week and have had constant unrecoverable errors since. This morning I couldn't even run OOo. I ran setup and repaired the installation and all is well again. I'm going to try once more to install the patch. I'll let you know what happens.
