The standard number format I meant is the one in Calc that in the number formatting table is called "Standard".
I would like the "Standard" format to be -#,##0.00, can I do that?
No, the way the "Standard" number format shows the value is fixed. But you can change the number format of the "Standard" cell style from "Standard" to "-#,##0.00". Confused? ;-)
- Open Styles and Formatting dialog (a.k.a. Stylist, press F11) - Right-click the "Standard" cell format, "Change" - Go to "Numbers" tab page - Change the number format - OK
The standard cell style is used by all cells in the document by default. As long as you do not change the number format of a cell explicitly, it will use the number format of the style.
