It does seem that the width= tag is added when a table is pasted from www to OOo. I'm not a html expert to know whether this addition makes the html source more standards compliant or not - but that could be a reason.
At the end of the day however I've also had no trouble altering the size of the columns once they were in OOo. I certainly did not ave to remove the added tags prior to resizing. I'm using OOo1.9.95 but have also tried this in 1.1.4 and I had no issues with resizing the columns graphically (with no need to remove any tags). /paul On 5/5/05, Bob Lockie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On 04/05/2005 1:03 PM Bob Lockie spoke: > > I copied a table from firefox and pasted it into OOo-1.1.4 and every TD > > has a WIDTH= now. :-( > > I have to manually take them out so that I can change the column widths > > from the TH WIDTH= > > That is a pain, the original source doesn't have TD WIDTH= so why did > > OOo have to add it? :-( > > If I move the table columns with the GUI, TD WIDTH= is put in my source > for every TD, that is bad. > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
