Thanks again, louann It's great that you are trying to resolve this yourself! I'm sorry that it's not working out. A thought occurred to me... you don't say which version of OO you are using. If you are using anything before about 1.1.3, there are some annoying glitches which were later fixed. The latest (stable) version is 1.1.4 On the menu options, menus are context sensitive. For example if there is nothing selected to copy, the copy icons will be greyed out until you select some text or an object.
