I believe I've got a bug to report and I've already spent several hours trying to figure it out. After reading the help which indicates that the Tables of Contents Index is supposed to be under "Insert" and NOT finding it no matter where I tried to go, I finally realized it WAS there on a menu on one database I had experimented with and had tried to delete to no avail ... as a matter of fact it seems to be totally hung up as I can't "close" it either. After my lack of success with it, I had gone to the spreadsheet to try to insert my hyperlinks or tables of contents/indexes in somehow ... the more I'de read the help that it was supposed to be under insert the more frustrated I'de become. I do not understand WHY it should be on the insert menu on the hung-up database I cant close or delete but it doesn't appear on the spreadsheet. Anyone have any ideas? Oh, I tried to make it work on a text document and couldn't find it on the insert menu either. HELP!!

Thanks much. I have a very important job to do that is going to take much cross-referencing of large documents and am now running very late at it. I had hoped OO would help me be more efficient.

Oh, yes I have Windows XP Gateway intel, celeron .. scads of memory but do not remember how much. (Sort of like my own) ... :) Joyce

We'll need your OS name & version & what downloading agent you are trying to use before we can make truely applicable suggestions.
