This doesn't seem right. This is where RH installed stuff. I would
expect that the help repository is in the directory where you actually
installed 1.1.4.
Rod -- last gasp, if this doesn't work I'll not persue this until I've
tried OO 2.0 -- what subdirectory is the help repository in? Is it
/usr/lib/openoffice/help/en
in my case? The "options" menu showed me various paths but I didn't see
any line-item for "help" in the list, it might be a good thing to add
in future releases. I tried poking through the directories to see if
paths had been encoded into the scripts (presumably in the install)
but couldn't figure out where to look or what to look for.
Also, "help" worked okay when I was running 1.1.0 and I have a 1.9 beta
installed and help works okay for that. I'm sure I'll be okay when I
migrate to 2.0 when it comes out and I clean all these off the system.
I tried repairing the 1.1.4 install but the only thing that looked like
"help" was a library module that it said it didn't have a correspondence
for. I'm not familiar with how the installation is organized so I
couldn't tell what modules I would need to look at.
Thanks,
Carl
