If you have more time, then explore the Insert ->Frames. This allows you
to put a floating box containing anything around the whole document. I
use this a lot, you can see example of my work when creating promotional
materials at

Just a quick questions on how to do something in writer. I just want to
create two seperate tables but on the same line for a quotation form im
trying to make for the company but i am finding that i can do this unless i
start a table on a new line, but then i get big gaps all over the document.
