So in short OOo cannot do this - it needs external code of one sort or 
another.  Which seems to me to be a Very Silly Thing.  If it's 
converting vector to bitmap in any form, then somewhere there has to a 
resolution used for the conversion: so how come it's not been made 
altertable?????  Surely that's an utterly trivial and obvious amendment 
to the code?
