Yesterday I ugraded to 2.4 from 2.3 but when the installation process
completed I was left with no-functioning icons (from 2.3) for Writer and
Calc - my 2 main needs for using OpenOffice - and thus this makes accessing
and using them time consuming and potentailly problematical.
 
I s there an easy fix to either update the ixons giving access to the
applications or can I install them from somewhere.
 
At present for new documents or spreadsheets I am having to open existing
docs and then save in 2.4  This is time consuming and not easy access.
