In a new empty writer text document, at the bottom of the window I have
ability to type in insert or overtype mode by clicking on the indication
which toggles to the other option.
So far so good. However, if I import a PDF text file, and double click
on a line of text (in the case at hand a series of underscores
indicating the user is to insert some information) I do not get the
insert/overtype toggle availability. The default is for insert, with no
option that I can find to toggle to overtype.
Am I missing something or is this a need for an enhancement?
