Hello,

because OpenOffice3 hang up longer for saving my spreadsheet
than my patience lasted, I killed OpenOffice ("Force Quit" on
my iMac, Mac OSX 10.5). Trying to open it again, I learned
that the file is locked now.

I moved the file to a different name and could then happily
open and modify it. Copying the altered file back to the
original name, again I could only open it read-only ... and
saw all the differences I made in the meanwhile. So I think
the lock information is not saved within the file itself.

But where is this lock information stored and how can I remove
it? I prefer not to have that sort of leftovers in a hidden
database ...

Many thanks in advance.
Ulrich
