Dear openoffice Calc users:
I am pretty new to openoffice and I would like to know
how to generate a sequence of numbers from 1-60 in a column,
I hope it will look like this
1
blank
blank
blank
2
blank
blank
blank
3
blank
blank
blank
You can do something like: (assuming column A;
In A1 place a 1
Leave A2, A3, A4 blank
In A5 enter a formula "=A1+1"
Select cells A2 through A5, click Edit Copy, or ctrl-C, or the copy icon..
Then place your cursor into the cells to want to copy into, such as A6
through A43, then click on Edit/Paste, Control-V, or the paste icon.
This is simplistic, but it works.
