Dear Sirs - I have a considerable amount of information contained in tables which were created in Word. These translated well enough in your previous version of Open office although adding lines to the tables is more complicated and time consuming than it was in Word. However... in the new version of Open office the statistics which I have entered as a/b are changed by the programme as if it thinks I intended dates, so adding one figure, instead of reading a+1/b+1, it comes out as 01/a+1/b+1. That's no good! The only way around it which I have found is to change all my tables so the stats are stored as a.b - mathematically that would mean a times b, so it is not really satisfactory. Can you help me get over this difficulty? John Dolman
