Hi, I've a SanDisk "cruzer" too so as long as I know att SanDisk home page
there is a link to some programs that run in SanDisk without problems, you
can fine a OpenOffice.Org version there and it is 2.X version.This especific
version has even a file with a extension ....u3. This file make possible to
install and run the Openoffice.org into the SanDisk stick. I was looking for
a newer version of OOo to could install in SanDisk but I've not finded yet.
So if you like to have a running version of OpenOffice in SanDisk I think
you have to agree to have and old version of OpenOffice and not the last one
(V.3.0).
The other question is about if OpenOffice can read files of MS office 2003
, yes it can read and write files in MS formats, you only need to
configurate OpenOffice the way you would like to handle the files you would
like to work with.
The last question or coment,, about the download time .... it depends if you
have a good access to Internet or not.

edition 2003, but as I bought a new laptop LG X110 without CD-drive, I

hour your program was only downloaded 30%, so I stopped it. Before trying
again, I would like to know, if open office can read the files of
