It's definitely been ported, because OOo 3.0.1RC2 is available for both Mac OS X Intel and PPC from http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/
I assume that it hasn't passed QA yet, so it's not linked from the download pages. You are correct that "3.0.0" should appear in place of "Download" in the table of download links, until the updated version is linked.
