When did Sun's JRE version 7 come out??
I am running version 6 update 11. That was the last version that I
found at Sun's Java site.
OpenOffice.org 3.0.x runs off of version 6 update 11 very well.
If you have an older Java Runtime Engine (JRE) then you should
update it.
Vista (have Home Premium)
Start > Control Panel > Java > Update
then follow the instructions there.
XP should be the same or similar.
If you get a corrupt CAB file, you may need to uninstall OOo (and JAVA)
and delete the directory in the "Program Files" directory. Then
reinstall a freshly downloaded copy of OOo version 3.0.1 with the JRE.
