third one down "Spenden" is a link
http://www.openoffice.org/contributing.html
I suspect that these are a group of German users who Love Open Office so
much that they put a link to the Open Office site as a to participate.
I hope this helps clarify.

Hmmm. If it's a genuine site, what caused Mr. Fontaine's problem with
passwords and being asked to "join OpenOffice"? There seems to have been
something wrong because when he downloaded the software from
www.openofice.org his problems disappeared.
I certainly echo your thanks, though if, indeed, Mr. Fontaine has
donated to OpenOffice.org
Perhaps he made a donation first expecting to receive something to tell
him to download? Don't know, but I did/do find his initial post rather odd:

I guess the only way to find out is to ask him directly & given that
you've already corresponded with him directly perhaps you can ask? If
indeed there was some site that he went to for the initial download that
was directing him to the link it will be worth finding out.
