Dear James and Richard:
Thank you very much for your replies. I took your advice and tried
version 3. It works great on Vista 64 bit. One of my biggest problems is
compatibility and getting stuff over from my old Windows 98 machine to
my new one. Open Office 3 works like a charm in this respect.
On my Windows98 machine I have version 1.1.4. However, I did not save
the installation program. And I do not plan to throw out my Win98
machine. I can't find version 1.1.4 for archiving anywhere (not exactly
true. There is one site that has it in zip format. Aside from the fact
that exe would make life easier, this particular web site crashes my 98
machine).
But I was able to find a copy of version of version 2. Does version 2
run with Windows 98? While I am asking questions, will version 3 run on
Win 98?
THANKS

Dear Sirs
Does Open Office work with Vista Home Premium 64 bit ???
It certainly works with Vista, though I haven't tried it on 64 bit
Vista. Since OpenOffice is a free download from www.openoffice.org, why
not just give it a try and see what happens? If you have any issues
etc., please feel free to ask here again.
