Hi Guy
Thank you very much for the e-mail. It is much appreciated. I have the
problem that unless I have remembered to load OpenOffice., the files open in
Text.edit and when I go into properties to change the 'open with' it will
not accept OpenOffice as an option. However, when I start again, load Open
Office, open Properties, now it says always open with OpenOffice. The next
time however, if I haven't preloaded OpenOffice(i.e. clicked on the icon,
waited till the three different screens come up, the third being the choose
type of document screen, then minimising all three, then clicking on the
required file) then it opens with text edit again and I'm back to square
one!

Regards

Dave Cuffe
