Have created outline that is aligned like IRS Code, but not nearly such crushing length.
Understand how to change echelon of paragraphs up or down, Shift-Tab or Tab from head of paragraph. Why does OO not reallign the level, to illustrate, push a sub-paragraph left to the next higher allignment column of paragraph after I have hit it with Shift-Tab? If I manually must reallign paragraphs whose echelon has been shifted (as above), how? I do not see how to avoid erasure of the assigned number/letter. Document is formatted in "odt" format, and OO is running under Win 2K. Thanks in advance. JRL
