Hi,
I decided to make an OOo Base database to manage my (voluminous!) SAT
word lists. So far, it's working fine (I plan to program in
functionality to randomly pick one word and, when I click, show the
definition - but data entry comes first.)
Here's the trouble. I created a form to enter the words in, but the
font size is unbelievably tiny! Can I make the fonts bigger?
Yup, you can change the font size.
LOL - I don't suppose I should stop there, should I...but you didn't ask
how...
OK - how.
Open the Base file.
Select the form in Edit mode - for instance, right mouse click and
select edit.
If your form uses individual text boxes and you have multiple text boxes
do this:
Hold down the CTRL key - right mouse click the first control, this
selects the control.
Hold down the CTRL / Shift keys and click the remaining controls
With all the text boxes selected right click and select 'Control' - this
opens the property editor.
Find the property Font - click the button to the far right of this
property line - this opens the font dialog.
Set the font and size you want.
Save your form.
All the controls will now have the font and size you picked.
If your form uses a table grid.
Click on the header for the column you want to change.
Right click and select 'Column'
This brings up the property editor for that columns text box
controls....follow instructions from before to select the font.
HTH,
Drew
ps - best of luck with the SATs.
