I had a problem here: A user reported that whenever he wants to print a document the paper format defaults to A3, not A4.
This probably indicates that he has a custom template set as default.
After a lot of searching, setting and debugging I noticed it has to be an entry within the document templates he uses: New documents default easily to DIN A4 as wanted; just not these templates. While I am (perhaps) a good sysadmin I am surely not a good OpenOffice user. So, please, can you give me a hint where I can change the standard paper format within these .ott-Templates?
Within each separate template you can change it by changing the template via File|Template|Edit. Changing the "default" document can be done in two steps: - create a document with the desired (page) settings and save as template (File|Template|Save) - set that template as default (File|Template|Organize, select the template in the list left, choose Commands|Set As Default Template) Also see the Help button in that window.
