Hello All,

As the subject states, I am in the process of updating the Writer user
guide (www.oooauthors.org) to include some new features introduced
since OOo 3.0. At present I am looking at the capability of allocating
to a paragraph style its own outline level.

The feature is rather straightforward to describe, but what I am after
is a good real life example when a user may want to allocate an
outline level to a paragraph style other than "Heading x".
The only advantage I can find is that a document can have multiple
paragraph styles associated to the same level (e.g. have the paragraph
styles Heading 2 and MyHeading2 both associated with level 2) so that
they are both shown in the ToC, but I fail to see when it would be
useful.

Is there anybody who has used this functionality and can share with me
why it was needed?

Thanks,

Michele
