When OOo is uninstalled, it does not delete any file that you have created with it unless you put the file in a folder that OOo deletes. If that is possibly scarry, just remember this much: OOo leaves the entire "user" folder along with its subfolders alone when it is uninstalled. That is the only folder of OOo you should use to store any created documents anyway. The uninstall program does not search outside of the OOo folder itself.
