I waited for someone else to respond, but apparently no one else will
for awhile.
As I see it you have two problems. The first one, the image in the
background,
sounds to me like you want a watermark. Look for watermark in the help
files.
The second, INSERT->PICTURE then browse to the image file you want.
Come back to the list if this does not solve your needs.
