Yes, there sure is. Just click in the table and Table > Select, then Table > Convert > Table to Text.

Except that it's easier still: you don't actually need to select the table - just to have the cursor in it.

Right you are! So many things respond to the selection that I just do it automatically, even when it isn't necessary. :-[
