[users] Software problem with open office?

Hi, I downloaded your free version of open office on my laptop.
When my computer booted up a window poped up saying,
SAS Window: winlogon.exe - unable to locate component.
The application has failed to start because MSVCP71.DLL
was not found. re-installing the application may fix the problem.
When I clicked ok in this window box the pop up window dissapeared.
How can I solve this problem?
I have Windows XP as my operating system.
