[users] Help w patch for 1.1.4 and check sum

Hi,
I've been using 1.1.3 and comparing it with Word for four months.  It does 90% 
of what I want with not problem, I'm still working on the other 10%.  I 
upgraded to 1.1.4 but could not find any user instructions how to install the 
patch and how to run the check sum.  Would appreciate a couple of lines on how 
to do each.
