Thanks for this input. This confirms my comment about not having this problem with OOo 1.1.4. The procedure: "Open .sxw>save as .doc" always worked in 1.1.4. The procedure: "File>Send>Document as mail" also always worked in 1.1.4. Everything was saved as a .doc file and anyone could open sent file as a Word document. Doesn't work in 2.0 beta version. Something to do with ".odt". Thanks.
