My $0.02, DT<< that's very reasonable. i didn't mean to deny an answer and it was 100% my fault for not being more specific in my question. i didn't think far enough ahead to realize that this functionality may change from app to app within OOo. is there a way to get total pages in draw - even if there is more than one page? is there a work around? i *really* appreciate all the help everyone provides here and i *really* didn't mean to come across as ungrateful in any way. i am very grateful to the people who provide help in this and other forums. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
