Could somebody please enlighten me what exactly the "placeholder" field
might be useful for? The documentation states that after clicking such a
field I should be presented with a dialog allowing me to type the text
that will supplant the placeholder (in the case of a text placeholder).
What DOES happen, however, is that I am presented with a "Edit Field:
Functions" window (something like "placeholder properties") that allows
me to set field properties, but not to replace it with anything.
Have I stumbled upon a bug? Or is this the way it should work, only I
have misunderstood the idea?
(I use OOo 1.9.122 under WinXP).
