Why are my neoOfficeJ files trying to open in OpenOffice.org when I
click on them in Finder? When I try to open them under NeoOfficeJ it
works.
Please help. NeoOfficeJ is wonderful. I have yet to master this
application.

As Andrew mentioned, you need to change the association between files
and the application that opens them. This is done as Andrew describes.
Besides, it is possible to have NeoOffice as well as OpenOffice on your
machine (to test OpenOffice 2.0 beta for example, or to use the new
file format, OD* instead of SW*) and in that case file associations
conflicts can occur even though you have set them properly.
There is no specific need to have NeoOffice and OpenOffice 1.1.2 on
your Mac. The Mac version of OpenOffice is obsolete. Work is done to
have OpenOffice 1.1.5 ported to Mac, but it is not done yet. NeoOffice
is OpenOffice 1.1.4 plus functions specific to MacOSX (input systems,
font access, etc.)
In that case just reproduce the file association procedure with the
problematic file and do not forget to "change all" as the menu proposes
you.
