You will need to do some editing of an Impress document, when opening
it with MSO.

A number of features in MSO for creating presentations, do not
translate into OOo Impress format.

If they are power users of Excel, then OOo Calc won't work them. 
Formulas will be lost in translating between the two file formats.

For average users, some formulas will have to be redone, but the
spreadsheets _should_ work.

Charts might not be correctly translated between the two formats.

Save the presentation as a PDF, if using OOo.
