Sorry for the double post. But I have "somewhat solved" my problem; by
getting rid of the frames and inserting the fields into the main body
of the document and using 2-column page layout, I could generate the
document with the addresses.
There only remains one problem:
The status bar tells me there are 5 pages in the document (which is
correct: 54 entries in the database, 12 records/page).
There are however only 2 pages visible: page 2 and 4. When the cursor
is on the first visible page in the document (which should be page 2)
it says "1/5" and when placed on the second visible page (which really
is page 4) it says "3/5".
The other 3 pages are never visible and I can't find a way to print
them. I can't change to them using the navigator.
If I put the lot of 5 pages in the template document, the 5 pages get
filled correctly by the wizard, so I already managed to print the
document and the aggro is gone ;)
I would however prefer to resolve this issue, as it might probably be
a major bug in the Mail Merge Wizard and my solution isn't really any
solution at all only a dirty workaround.
I already tried this with only 1 column, but the result is the same:
every odd page becomes unavailable in the result document, so the
multi-column page layout seems to drop out from the list of possible
causes.

Best regards
  Marcus
