Hi Pere,

After installing "OpenOffice.org 2.0 Beta 2 (1.9.125)" and "J2SE Runtime
Environment 5.0 Update 4", I opened in Writer a form created in Microsoft Word
2000 and saved it in "OpenDocument Text" format (ODT).
Then I made the following changes to that form in Writer:
- Text was changed and introduced before and after several fields;
- A "text box" and a "formatted field" were created after switching design mode
to on (on the "Form Controls" toolbar).
I have to say that I only was able to make these changes after using "Format -
Sections" command in Writer to unprotect a section of the document that had
been protected in Word.

Subject: [users] Forms of .doc documents are not modificable in oo2
beta2 (m125)

I don't know if it is a bug or a limitation of recognizion microsoft forms in
oo2, but I can't find a way to modify the .doc documents generated with MSWORD
with oo2 beta2. I can modify the fields, yes but the other text is protected
and the switch design mode on/off don't do anything.

Is a known behaviour or I'm missing something?
Thanks in advance,
