Doesn't sound right to me since you have DSL. My connection
is one the slow side for a DSL connection, and it only takes
me about 20 minutes to download the ~65MB file. It takes
probably 6 - 8 hours on dial-up.
Maybe you just happened to connect at a high use time. Or you
might need to try a different mirror site for the download.
Everyone says that one closer to you should be faster, but
that's not always the case. Brazil is a LOT closer to me
than New York, but I get a faster download from New York than
from Brazil.
If you try a few other mirror sites and still have the same
problem, then I'd say there is something wrong with your DSL
connection.
