Thanks, actually I've four partitions within my HD as
follows: (1) FAT32 running Windows XP Pro SP2, (2)
(Reiserfs) running Mandriva 2006 RC1, (3) FAT32 with
the Linux-Windows shared docs, and (4) (Reiserfs)
mounted as /home.  In fact, within the third
partition, the Writer and Calc docs created under
Windows can be opened, read and modified from Linux,
and inverse.  So, without doubts it's an specific OOo
Base issue.
