Apart from the thread I've got going re the Agenda Wizard (still
wrestling with that one), I now find I cannot get the spell-checker to
work in 2.0. The options are all checked in the right places, but I
cannot get the wizard to work to install the GB english dict, and even
the American US dict (which I assume is already present) does not work.
In other words, I have no spell checker at all.
When I attempt to use the wizard, I'm first invited to upgrade DicOOo,
but when I agree to that, I'm then presented with a blank window with
"Select Path". I haven't a clue what I'm supposed to put there, so I
ignore it and persevere with DicOOo 1.5.1. Downloading seems to go
alright - but with no result. Closing OOo and re-starting as per
instructions does not get the spell checker working, and if the
dictionary file has gone somewhere then I've no idea where, else I would
install it off line.
System is PCLinuxOS
