(answering my own post!) Queries and all other data sources stuff are stored here: ~/openoffice/1.1.1/user/registry/cache/org.openoffice.Office.DataAccess.dat Where ~ is your home/data directory. This means that - at least in ooo1 - you can't transport Queries between computers.
