I'm listening to The Three Tenors singing O Sole Mio in an Impress
presentation right now. The file is an mp3 that I inserted and ran. It's
MPEG 1.0 layer 3, 44.1 KHz stereo. I tried a windows AVI with sound as
well and it works fine. If you've got a media player like winamp, try
opening the file and check it's properties.

This is the message I get when I try to insert an audio file into any
OOo component, including Impress. I only have .wav and mp3 files, and
both are rejected with the above error message. This happened in 2.0
official release and still in the m137 build I am now using, running in
W2K, with the latest JRE. What audio file formats ARE supported in OOo
2.0?
