I am not sure if I understand the question - but I'll answer what I
think was asked....

In A2 let's say you have =SUM($A$1;B2)

When you drag this formula down, the $A$1 component of the formula is
constant, but the B2
component is auto incremented through C2, D2 etc

When dragging formulae and you need to have a constant address, use
the $ notation as shown above.
