One way I have found to do this, is to copy the sheet range to the clipboard, then in Writer "Paste Special" as "Formatted Text (RTF)". This gives you a Writer table, without borders. > If I also could preserve formatting, while doing it it would be great. Depends on what you mean by formatting. The format of some fonts and alignment are preserved.
