You already got some very good answers, but I wanted to let you know
that I download OOo over a lousy dial-up connection all the time. I'm
lucky to get 26.4 and it takes about 8 hours to do it (I sleep -- the
'puter works <g>)
I use FileZilla for the download so that when the connection "breaks"
-- and it always does -- I can resume the download without a hitch.
