I create encapsulated postscript (.eps) file from R and insert them as pictures in writer and impress. gsview, gv, evince, etc. all show them properly. Most of the time they display correctly in writer and impress. But sooner or later as I add more eps files, eventually they don't all display correctly. The graphic frame stays the same size but the graphic itself shrinks to the lower left corner to about 70% of its correct size. Info that OOo displays shows the correct size but the images do not display correctly. When I close the document and then later re-open it, which graphics display correctly and which don't appears to be random. I have not found a solution to this and it makes it very difficult to make documents with nice graphs.
