I have the Japanese version of Windows XP, with all the functionality
thereof (fonts, input tool, etc.), and I do use Japanese text in documents.
But my first language is English, so it would be easier for me to learn OOo
if the menus, messages, etc. were in English. If I install the English
version of OOo, will I have the same functionality as the Japanese version?
In other words, are the multibyte language versions simply translations of
the English version, or do they also include extra code that I'll need to
have?

ago, but it hasn't shown up yet, even though a reply I posted after that
