Hello again, I seemed to have solved the problem with the Calc Help files on OOo on my computer here, through some help on the OOo discussion board.
The solution can be found here: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=29297 It basically has a quick fix, which is done by replacing the help files from the Windows installation with the help files from the Linux installation.
