Thanks Dave, for the information and link....I wonder if my problem has to do with the computer i temporarily work at....when i was at my own computer, i didn't have this similar of color between selected items and nonselected items (and when I will return, i don't suspect i will have that problem)....Anyway, no need to respond unless you get another idea of anything further to be done.... To submit a request for enhancement for this to be added to some future release, go to http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/TLogin register and reply to the registration confirmation email. If you find an existing request for this feature vote for it, or if not you can submit your own issue. This is the route by which most changes and enhancements are put forward to the developers.
