When we were programing on the mainframe we had to use all sorts of tricks to work a program. Remember the limit on the first PC for memory, that was a lot compared to what was on the mainframe.
I for one am very happy for all the exptra space. However, it makes the programmer and the company writing the operating systems and other main application very lazy, poor programmers. They just cludge things together rather than trying to produce a decent application. Extra coding, extra running. Too bad. But what the heck we have all this extra storage, memory, and operatiins why worry?
